Call the jail for an urgent custody question. Use 911 for an emergency. The sheriff’s online contact form is not monitored around the clock and should not be used for either purpose.
Route a Records Request
The sheriff’s records guidance says county incident and accident reports may be requested at the Sheriff’s Office or jail front desk during published office hours. The stated fee is $10 per incident or accident report. That amount is not a published booking-photo fee. For a booking record or image, identify the full name, approximate booking date, and arresting agency, then ask the custodian for any fee estimate and applicable Arkansas FOIA response.
- Ask the detention center or sheriff for a Sharp County intake record, booking image, detention log, or warrant record.
- Ask Cherokee Village, Cave City, or Ash Flat police for a report created by that municipal department.
- Use the Sharp County clerk or Search ARCourts for a case docket or disposition.
- Use ACIC for Arkansas criminal-history and sealing forms. The sheriff says it cannot provide ACIC or NCIC histories.

We cannot confirm whether a name belongs to the right person, whether a charge remains pending, whether a release has occurred, or when an online roster will update. An arrest entry is an allegation, not a conviction. Verify identity and current status with the responsible office, and use the court record for the case outcome.
